Congratulations on taking the first step towards healing! Counseling can provide you with a supportive, safe environment in which to explore and navigate life’s challenges. I am dedicated to going at your own pace and providing a non-judgmental, nurturing environment along the way.
Life often becomes chaotic and unhelpful thoughts can start to creep in—I should have done more, I’m not good enough, no one likes me, or I don’t feel like everyone else. It can become overwhelming, but there is bravery in asking for help. My approach encourages conquering fears, pointing out strengths, building self-care into your schedule, practicing mindfulness, regulating emotions, and identifying passions so that you can lead a purposeful life. One therapy tool does not work for everyone and you are the expert on yourself, so let’s collaborate to see what works best.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). In 2017, I obtained my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling with a concentration in clinical mental health counseling from Texas State University. Go Cats, Go! When I’m not seeing clients, you can find me playing disc golf on one of Austin’s many courses, soaking up some live music, or attending a kid-friendly event where I am way more excited to be there than my son is.
